FIBER SERVICES 

GENERAL

  1. All FTTB (Business Fiber) has a 24 month contract.
  2. Unless stated otherwise, a 90-day, 3 (Three) calendar month cancellation notice is required on all services.
  3. Once-off installation charges are subject to site survey from the Fiber Provider. Ugo Telecoms to supply Customer with quote. The once off installation price includes the Fiber installation, Fiber ONT and Activation. Session Telecoms does not supply a router.
  4. Once the quotation has been signed, the contract as per quotation is binding, from the date of the signed quotation.
  5. SLA’s applicable as per individual Fiber Providers and their services.
  6. Pro-rata billing applies. Pro-rata billing is determined and applicable from the date that the fiber line has been tested, signed off by the Installation Team, and handed over to the Fiber Provider.
  7. One public IP address per fiber link.
  8. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ugo Telecoms’ standard terms and conditions apply, in accordance with terms and conditions of the Fiber Provider. Full Terms & Conditions as per selected Fiber Provider, and can be viewed and downloaded from their website.
  9. Purchase Orders are unconfirmed unless accepted and acknowledged by an authorized representative of Ugo Telecoms, Fiber Provider representative as well as authorized representative of the Customer..
  10. Errors and Omissions excluded.
  11. Please confirm availability and delivery date estimates prior to placing the order.
  12. No “date conditional” Purchase Orders will be accepted.

MIGRATION AND/OR CANCELLATION OF SERVICE: EARLY TERMINATION OF SERVICE

  1. In the event where the quoted service is cancelled by the Customer, penalty fees will be applicable for cancellation during ANY phase of the installation process. This installation process is considered to start once the quotation has been accepted and signed by the Customer.  The cancellation penalty fee is calculated and determined the Fiber Provider, and includes the installation fee as well as the full 24 month contract amount and will become payable immediately.
  2. Migration of Fiber line still within the contractual period is subject to approval from the respected Fiber Provider. Any fees applicable for a migration will be determined by the Fiber Service Provider and may include installation fees, penalty fees for early cancellation of existing contract, and/or any other fees set by the Fiber Service Provider.

BILLING

  1. Pro-rata billing applies. Pro-rata billing is determined and applicable from the date that the fiber line has been tested, signed off by the Installation Team, and handed over to the Fiber Provider.
  2. All services are paid in advance.
  3. Monthly invoices to be paid by the last day of every month. Non-payment or late payment will result in the temporarily suspension of the fiber link and a reconnection fee may be payable to reconnect the fiber link.
